Service

Commercial warehouse clearance across the Midlands and UK

Warehouse clearance is the coordinated removal of contents, unwanted fixtures and fittings from a commercial or industrial unit, followed by cleaning and preparation so the space is ready for handover, sale, re-letting or reuse. Red & White Group is based in Burton-on-Trent and delivers clearance across the Midlands, and nationally on suitable projects, with one coordinated team managing the whole programme.

Who this service is for

  • Warehouse and distribution occupiers vacating a unit
  • Logistics operators consolidating or relocating sites
  • Landlords and managing agents preparing an empty unit
  • Facilities managers coordinating a phased move

Problems and trigger events

  • A lease-end or break date with a fixed handover
  • A site consolidation or relocation to a larger unit
  • An insolvency, closure or portfolio disposal
  • A unit that must be presented for re-letting or sale

Scope

Typical scope of work

  • Clearance of general contents, stock racking waste, packaging and redundant office furniture
  • Removal of unwanted fixtures, fittings, partitions and signage
  • Coordination of equipment removal with your own suppliers or specialists
  • High-level and floor-level cleaning once the unit is empty
  • Preparation of the unit for inspection, handover or the next occupier

Quoting

What we need to prepare a quotation

  • Site address and postcode
  • Approximate floor area and eaves height
  • What remains in the unit, with photographs or a short video if possible
  • Whether the site is occupied, partly occupied or vacant
  • Your handover, completion or relocation date
  • Any access restrictions, permits or site induction requirements

Safety

Safety and compliance

  • Work at height planned with appropriate access equipment and IPAF-qualified operation
  • Risk assessments and method statements produced before work begins
  • Waste streams, hazardous materials and specialist lifting requirements are assessed at survey and confirmed in writing before they are included in any scope

Process

How the work is delivered

  1. Step 1

Understand the site and the deadline

We talk through the unit, what remains, any lease obligations you are working to and the date you need to hand over.

  2. Step 2

    Survey and define the scope

A site visit confirms volumes, access, high-level work and anything requiring specialist assessment, so the quotation reflects the real job.

  3. Step 3

    Plan sequencing, safety and access

We set out the order of works, access equipment, welfare, permits and any phasing around your continuing operations.

  4. Step 4

    Coordinate and deliver

One team runs the clearance, cleaning and associated works, with regular progress updates as the unit empties.

  5. Step 5

Review, document and prepare for handover

We walk the unit with you, record the finished condition and prepare it for inspection or the next occupier.
